In the latest clip, Apollonia explained why the “Purple Rain” sequel, “Graffiti Bridge,” failed to match the success of its predecessor. After touching on her solo deal and explaining that Prince was upset that she negotiated a deal with Warner using his managers, she recalled telling Prince the script for “Graffiti Bridge” was “a piece of s***.” Apollonia also said Prince had trouble getting financial backing for the film and spent some of his own money to complete the film. She claimed the issue with the film, and other business failures, was that no one would tell Prince “no.” Look above to hear more.
