In the latest clip, Charleston White talked about the shifts in ways homosexuality is expressed in American prisons. After hearing Eddie Mathis describe young inmates being taken advantage of by older prisoners, Charleston highlighted the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) which keeps young prisoners from being housed with older inmates. He also claimed the emergence of gangs stopped older prisoners from victimizing young inmates and said homosexuality is more voluntary in today’s prisons.
