In a recent interview with DJ Vlad, rapper Charli Baltimore shared insights into the early stages of her music career and the relationship between the East and West Coast music scenes at the time. Baltimore discussed how fellow rapper and then boyfriend Biggie Smalls, also known as Notorious B.I.G, had plans to include her in a group called the “Commission,” but his focus at the time was more on his impending album, “Life After Death.” She also dispelled rumors of a deep-seated animosity between Biggie and Tupac Shakur. Despite their public feud, Biggie was truly concerned and upset when Tupac was shot, according to Baltimore. She emphasized that Biggie had no involvement in Tupac’s shooting, and he continued to respect Tupac’s music, even listening to his posthumously released album, “Makaveli.”
