In this clip, CJ talks about the bidding war that ensued after his song “Whoopty” blew up. He details the way in which his hit song gained traction on the East coast before eventually climbing the charts, nationwide. The 25-year-old also shares that the music video was temporarily pulled from YouTube because it contained samples from a Bollywood (India) song called “Sanam Re.” Lastly, CJ reveals that his team had to pay more than $80K in order to clear the song.
