We recently connected with Virginia artist D Chapo for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our sit down he talked about working a lot in Atlanta recently, growing up in Norfolk, moving to Virginia Beach when he was 12, plans to move to Atlanta real soon, playing basketball, wanting to be a video game designer when he was younger, jumping off the porch, dropping out of school in 12th grade, starting his JuggRixh brand, dropping his first merch collection this year, making his first song 3 years ago, starting to take music seriously about a year ago, not being a gimmick rapper, his new single “Clap” getting a great response in Atlanta, explains his creative process, the music scene in VA right now, his previous singles “Carbon” & “21 Questions”, upcoming EP ‘7 Days In The A’, the grind that comes with being an independent artist, goals, and much more!
