During our conversation he talked about the difference between DJing in Atlanta compared to back home in the Bay, life in Oakland, jumping off the porch when he was 14, getting his start in the music industry by interning at a radio station, advises others to do internships, going to college in Atlanta, explains how he locked in with Yo Gotti, helping put together his single “Act Right” featuring Jeezy & YG, becoming the head A&R for CMG, breaks down the different type of A&Rs, the chemistry between him & Gotti when in the studio creating, signing Mozzy to CMG, working with other CMG artists, Moneybagg Yo’s progression to one of the biggest artists in the game, signing a new deal as an artist with Def Jam, his new single “Feelings” featuring EST Gee & Rick Ross, his upcoming album ‘Salute To The Real, Pray For The Fake’, the music scene in Oakland right now, Snootie Wild, executive producing Gotti’s CM10 album, CMG becoming one of the biggest labels in the game, and much more!
