In this clip, Desiigner reveals that it was his younger sister who helped him come up with his stage name. From there, he revisits some of his earliest hits, such as “Zombie Walk,” which was released back in 2016. Then, the 25-year-old talks about the making of “Panda” from his debut album and how the song was curated amongst his friends at his house before he was even signed. Desiigner also provided context to his famous “I got broads in Atlanta” line by revealing that he had never been to the city during the time that he recorded “Panda.” From there, Desiigner went on to talk about the meaning behind his hit single, “Panda.” The New York rapper explains that he was inspired by seeing his friend’s black and white Audi S6 cars. From there, he reveals that the song title also came from the panda emoji that he saw on his phone. As the conversation moves along, the 25-year-old recalls uploading the song to SoundCloud for the first time and the responses he received on social media shortly thereafter. From there, he explains how Taxstone got involved in his rap career.
