We recently connected with Texas producer/artist DJ B-Do for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our sit down he talked about the culture in Port Arthur, learning to play instruments while in the band at school, explains how he locked in with PImp C, shadowing Pimp C, getting to build relationships with some of the greatest artists, their creative process, explains how the song “Grind Hard” got featured on UGK’s ‘Underground Kingz’ album, Pimp starting the group Da UnderDawgz with B-DO & Young T.O.E., being featured as the main character in Lupe Fiasco’s “Hip Hop Saved My Life” music video, working on the ‘UGK 4 Life’ album, producing “Purse Come First” featuring Big Gipp & “Used To Be” feat 8Ball, MJG, E-40 & B-Legit, reveals that “What Up” was originally a Pimp C & Lil Wayne song that got leaked, Drake later being featured on the song, producing “Dickies” by Pimp & Jeezy, producing Bun B’s single “Counting Money” featuring Gucci Mane & Yo Gotti, Da Underdawgz album ‘The 1st One Is For Pimp’, knowing Nipsey Hustle for 10 years before he passed, working on “Rap N*ggas” w/ Nip, explains what inspires him to keep creating today, fatherhood, reveals Pimp still has unreleased music, and much more!
