In this clip, Vlad discusses his life journey, including his time living in Brooklyn during the early 2000s. This was when his DJ career had just begun, and he was the only Caucasian resident in his Caribbean neighborhood. He described the neighborhood as hostile and mentioned an incident in which a bottle was thrown at his head. Deciding to remove himself from this level of conflict, he relocated to Borough Park, a deprived yet peaceful Jewish area. DL Hughley made comparisons to struggling communities in India, and critiquing the imbalance of success stories, stating that those who succeed — particularly Black individuals — are generally exceptions, not the rule. Hughley suggested that this disproportionate representation leads regular people to unnecessarily compare themselves to exceptional figures.
