During our sit down he talked about hip-hop celebrating its 50th birthday, repping Godby Road on the Southside, being embraced by the city, giving back to his community, jumping off the porch, being bred to succeed, explains what lead to him jumping off the porch, writing his first rap when he was 9 years old, explains how he crested his style, meeting Raheem The Dream, blowing up as an independent artist, having to sit down for a year, signing with Atlantic when he came home, going to New York for label meetings, the creative process for “Left, Right, Left”, working closely with Shawty Redd, them recording the album in just 12 days, knowing “Left, Right, Left” was going to be a hit single, having to go to jail while the song was blowing up, his album going gold, the Atlanta crunk era, his new single “Rise Up”, upcoming music video for the single, lessons learned while having to sit down, upcoming plans, and much more!
