In this clip, Ed Lover talked about landing a deal with Def Jam for his group “No Face.” He described how the group was put together and how they eventually got signed. However, while making moves and building a buzz with No Face, Ed was still under contract with MTV who ultimately gave Ed an ultimatum.

In this clip, Ed Lover talked with Shawn Prez about entering into the film space with the 1993 movie Who’s the Man. Ed said the idea came to him and used his connections through MTV to get the project off the ground. While the film featured a host of hip-hop cameos, the focal point of the movie was a commentary on gentrification in Harlem.
