In the latest clip, Faizon Love gave his review of Dave Chappelle’s stand-up special, “The Closer.” He called the special “masterful” and “brilliant” before addressing the transgender community’s issues with the special. Faizon claimed the transgender community did not understand Chappelle’s message of the comedy routine, statingn that the comedian was complimenting the LGBTQ+ movement and encouraging the African American community to approach its movement in a similar manner. Although he’s criticized Chappelle in the past, Faizon Love claimed the recent comedy special has gained the comedian a slot next to comedy elites such as Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby, and Redd Foxx.
