We recently sat down with Alabama artist iNTLCT for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about being born & raised in Montgomery, his upbringing, recently reconnecting with his dad, jumping off the porch, joining the Navy, his experience in the Navy for 5 years, being stationed in San Diego, getting his start making music while in the Navy, his grandfather being a famous jazz musician named Ironing Board Sam, recalls recording his first song “Making Progress”, his debut project ‘Different Perspective’ that dropped in 2018, lists his musical influences, his thoughts on Kendrick performing at the Super Bowl, compares living on the West Coast to life in Montgomery, recalls being nervous before performing his first show, the inspiration for his song & music video “Black Summer”, what to expect from his upcoming project ‘I AM iNTLCT’, reveals his favorite songs on the new project, describes his growth as an artist, explains his creative process, books he has read this year, shares advice for the youth, and much more!
