In this clip, Isaiah Washington talked about some of his early films and the experiences he had getting his feet wet in Hollywood. Isaiah recounted how instrumental his roles in ‘Strictly Business’ and ‘Strapped’ helped put him on Spike Lee’s radar. He said he was terrified auditioning for Spike but ended up killing the audition and wasn’t shy about letting his fellow auditioners know about it.
Later, Isaiah recounted how he got put in the middle of the beef between Spike Lee and the Hughes Brothers. He explained that the pettiness between both camps forced him to disassociate with both sides.
