During our sit down he talked about coming from Newport News VA, credits moving out of Virginia for his success, playing basketball before he got into music, explains how he got into making beats, being self-taught, mimicking his favorites producers when he first started, developing his own sound, using social media to connect with artists outside of VA, locking in with Rockstar Marqo, his first big placement being with Jeezy “Trump”, creating his now infamous producer tag, starting to come down to Atlanta after high school, getting a couple placements on Waka Flocka’s ‘DuFlocka Rant’ mixtape, reveals how he locked in with Young Dolph, talks about Dolph’s process when recording, producing “On The River” w/ Dolph & Wiz Khalifa, the song going Gold, the song going viral on TikTok years after it was released, having unreleased music with Dolph, reveals how he will always remember Dolph, working with Dej Loaf, producing several records for Rich Homie Quan, “Blah Blah Blah” also going viral on TikTok, preferring to be hands on with artists that he works with, engineers being undervalued, having a placement on Young Scooter’s ’Street Lottery’ tape, producing two songs for Chief Keef, quitting college to further pursue his music career, being an artist & releasing his own music, being a trendsetter, the inspiration for his song “Play It Cool”, recent placement with Paperroute Woo & Snupe Bandz, businesses & investments he has outside of music, shares advice for upcoming producers, and much more!
