We recently sat down with Florida artist Jayscho for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about life in New Smyrna Beach, teaching himself how to play piano, going to college in Ohio to play football, explains why he left after one year, starting to take music seriously after his cousins as killed, releasing “Nuktown” dedicated to his cousin, growing up listening to T.I., explains how he got the name Jayscho, describes his growth as an artist from when he first started, learning to make beats, explains his creative process, the music scene in New Smyrna Beach, networking in other cities, thinking about moving to Atlanta, explains one of his lines on “Triggers”, his thoughts on the rap game right now, upcoming EP ‘Who Is Jayscho’, the single “Dying Over Love” which will have a big feature, upcoming music videos, self-producing the majority of the EP, challenges of being an independent artist, goals for his career, artists he would like to work with, fatherhood, advice fro the youth, and much more!
