Jordan Cooper is the youngest playwright in Broadway history making magic on the stage. He stopped by Sway In The Morning to talk about his latest work and getting more black plays on Broadway.

‘Ain’t No Mo” is playing on Broadway now and turning heads. Cooper stars as Peaches in his own play, about a great exodus of Black Americans out of a country plagued with injustice.

The cast also features Marchánt Davis (Black History Museum), Fedna Jacquet (Gloria: A Life), Crystal Lucas-Perry (Bull in a China Shop, Ain’t No Mo’ at Public Studio), Ebony Marshall-Oliver (Seussical), and Simone Recasner (Ain’t No Mo’ at Public Studio). Hermon Whaley Jr. (Romeo and Juliet) will be the standby for Peaches and will perform Sunday matinees.
