In this clip, Juvenile spoke about putting out his first single, “Bounce for the Juvenile,” which was a regional hit and got the attention of Warlock Records, who later signed him. He then dropped “Being Myself,” his first album, and when Cash Money first approached him, Juvenile admitted that he didn’t want to quit his good paying job to sign with the label. He then propositioned Slim and Birdman to pay him $2,000 a week, which the initially declined, but agreed to the next day.
