Kevin Gates on Snitches & Losing Friends to Street Life

http://www.vladtv.com – Kevin Gates sat down with VladTV and discussed the idea of snitching, saying that even though he’s a two-time felon, the idea of becoming a rat disgusts him and that it would never be an option.

Gates is particularly passionate about the topic, as he reveals some of his closest friends are doing long bids and even life in prison not because of evidence or police work, but simply because other so called “street dudes” pointed them out in court. He also shares his confusion over why rappers want to be affiliated with dope boys, assuming they think it will give them street cred. In reality, cops are now using rappers as a way to get to the real street guys, making it easier for them to get locked up.
