Last week we sat down with artist Kid Flvsh for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about being from New Jersey & New York, finding his passion for drawing when he was just 10 years, going to college, explains who he got into making cover art for rappers, preferring to get direction from the artist or manager for the artwork, getting his name by having fast turnaround times for his covers, reveals how he got locked in to doing a lot of covers for Lil Tjay, all of the songs he did covers for Tjay have gone gold or platinum, receiving plaques which is rare for a cover designer, explains why artwork is so important for a song’s release, explains how he got the opportunity to do the cover for “City of Gods’ for Fivio, Kanye & Alicia Keys, hand drawing all of his covers, not being stuck in one style, shares advice to other designers on how to land placements, also being a recording artist & a producer, dropping his first song in 2019, his upcoming EP that will drop on 4/20, his creative process on making a song, using time management to balance his work, working on an upcoming comic book, reveals his short term & long term goals, and much more!
