In this clip, King Los shares the thrilling story about how he randomly stumbled upon auditions for “Making the Band” about 20 years ago in his hometown of Baltimore, skipped the massive line, went all the way up to the audition space and performed for the judges, before being selected on the spot. The 40-year-old rapper details what happened next, explaining that he won the entire competition but neglected to sign the final contract to appear on the classic MTV series, much to the dismay of P. Diddy. Lastly, King Los states that although he rejected Diddy’s plea to come back and be a part of a show that was supposed to be centered on him, he signed a solo deal with the rap mogul years later instead.
