Lecrae Airs Out The Industry Agenda, Talks ‘Church Clothes 4’ + Freestyle | Sway’s Universe
There is a lot of low vibrational music in rotation and that has been the case for the last 10-15 years. The industry funds and promotes the antithesis of what hip-hop was founded on. Lecrae stopped by Sway In The Morning and had some real talk about the industry agenda, and why positive uplifting music for our community does not get the airplay.
Lecrae has been in the game for a minute, but had become more mainstream with the pandemic hit “I’m Coming In Hot” with Andy Mineo. But the Grammy winning spitter is back at it with “Church Clothes 4”.
The album is a bit on the darker side of what Lecrae has been dealing with, and he breaks down how he came to this album with Sway and the team. He also dropped some bars just to put everyone on notice that even though he has a Grammy he is still a hyena!
