In this clip, Lil Cease explained how much of a confidence booster it was seeing Puffy invest so much into Biggie. Lil Cease talked about the remixes and features Puffy landed for Big on his ascent and how he taught Biggie about the technical side of song-making.

Lil Cease also talked with Shawn Prez about Biggie’s transition from hustling to becoming a full-time artist. He said but for a little dabbling in the streets to hold him over before the real money began to flow, Biggie was strictly focused on music. Cease said it really became all about the music for Biggie after the birth of his daughter.
