During our conversation he talked about being born in Decatur Illinois, his upbringing, moving to Houston when he was 12 before landing in Western Tennessee when he was 13, jumping off the porch, having 6 kids, breaking into homes when he was young, getting locked up 2 times, his relationship with his dad, starting off singing as a kid, his new single “Shake It Back” w/ Jamie Ray, starting to take music seriously when he came home from prison, his song “Drill Time” going up, artists he grew up listening to, falling in love with the Southern culture, explains what LMP stands for, the grind that comes with being an indy artist, opening up for Duke Deuce in Atlanta, his new project ‘Where It All Started’, goals, his creative process, shares advice for the youth, and much more!
