In the latest clip, Play explained how he ended up with his stage name. He talked about his introduction to Hip Hop and how he started rapping for women’s attention. Play also recalled painting jeans as a side hustle and using the Playboy bunny as his signature. While his original name was Chris C., he changed it to Playboy Mr. C after someone wanted to fight him for the first name. He explained that over time, the Playboy nickname got shortened to Play.
