In the latest clip, Play explained how Kid ‘N Play cast for the leading roles in “House Party.” While some believe the roles were originally for the Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff, Play clarifed that the roles were always meant for Kid ‘N Play. He said he was hesitant to do the film because rap films hadn’t been commercially successful up until that point. He also added that the Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff wouldn’t have done the film any way because New Line was suing them at the time.
