Last week we sat down with buzzing Memphis artist Quezz Ruthless for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he talked about living all over Memphis, growing up in East Memphis, the violence ion Memphis getting worse than when he was younger, jumping off the porch, his mom moving him down to Atlanta when he was in 6th grade, moving back to Memphis when he was 15, getting shot in 2020, dropping out of school when he was in 10th grade, explains how he got into making music, his first song “New Apes” blowing up, getting Big Scarr when he was 15, recording “Bacc 2 Bacc” with Scarr in California, plans to do a collab album with Scarr, growing up listening to Chief Keef, reaching out to Kshordy for “Tired Of Shooting”, not paying attention to hate, the music scene in Memphis, RR having a big movement in the city, his new single “Keep It Cool”, the “Slide” challenge with Bankroll Tink, upcoming album ‘The Wild Child’, wanting to work with Nardo Wick, shares advice for the youth, and much more!
