In the latest clip, Rafer Alston talked about going to the New Jersey Nets before being bought out of his contract and joining the Miami Heat that same NBA season. While on the Heat, Alston suffered a performance-altering wrist injury and had a lot of issues going on in his personal life. He felt disrespected by the organization after he was stripped of all of his playing despite being a starter. As a result, Alston abandoned the team and stopped responding to messages. Alston admitted that it was the “second-dumbest” decision of his NBA career but added that he still would have wanted to leave the team.
