In this clip, Riddick Bowe opened up about going to the Olympics in 1988 and fighting Lennox Lewis, and he’s still unsure of why their fight was stopped, with claims that he headbutted Lewis, leading him to win a silver medal. Riddick said he was “crushed” after getting silver, but he decided to push on and go pro. Riddick then got Eddie Futch as his coach, who also coached Joe Frazier, Ken Norton, Larry Holmes, and Trevor Berbick. When asked about his thoughts on Larry and Trevor beating Ali, Riddick reveals he wasn’t a fan of theirs until he understood the world of boxing, which you can hear more about above.
