Last week we caught up with buzzing Louisiana artist Rojay MLP for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our sit down he talked about growing up in New Roads, making it out of a small town, jumping off the porch, coming from a musical family, releasing his first song when he was 12, explains what MLP stands for, his creative process, making his breakthrough song “The Rain” after his grandmother passed away, winning a contest for a free music video from David G, the song touching people, signing with NBA two years ago, knowing Youngboy before he signed, his single “Self Esteem” getting over 4 million views on YouTube, working on the NBA compilation album, being featured on YB’s new song “Gang Baby”, plans to drop a mixtape next month then follow up with an album, the music scene in his hometown, the importance to network in other cities, goals, shares advice fro the youth, and much more!
