Russell "Big Block" Spencer (Full Interview)

In this full-length interview, Russell “Big Block” Spencer states that although he is primarily associated with Atlanta hip hop, he spent several years of his childhood in Los Angeles because of his family ties there. The iconic businessman then discussed what it was like to grow up on both coasts and do a 4.5-year prison bid for involuntary manslaughter. He then talks about meeting 2Pac’s sister at a nail salon, upon his release from prison, which eventually led to a meeting with 2Pac. In a shocking revelation, he also shares that 2Pac’s mother, Afeni, is the one who helped him land his million-dollar record contract with the same guy who signed her son. He also talks about what it was like to lose 2Pac on the same exact day that his daughter was born.
