We recently sat down with New Jersey rapper Torchh for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he discussed New Jersey rappers being slept on, growing up in poverty in Newark, the Pilgrim Village Projects, jumping off the porch at 14, losing his best friend, learning not to trust in the streets, freestyling at the age of 16 at the start of his rap career, dealing with hate in his city, his grind as an independent artist right now, incorporating self discipline into his grind, if you can make a drill song without dissing, thoughts on the court using lyrics on artists, his dynamic with popular videographer Rari, hosting a challenge for the kids, “Got The Streets” part 2, what’s separating him as a drill artist right now, not planning on signing a deal, upcoming videos, singles and more!
