In this clip, Warren Sapp revisits his comments from a previous interview with DJ Vlad when he proclaimed that Odell Beckham Jr. and Cam Newton were not great players. In response, DJ Vlad kindly reminded Warren Sapp that OBJ scored a touchdown shortly after the interview aired and proceeded to do Sapp’s old signature dance in the end zone. To that, Warren Sapp says that he believes OBJ is in for his best season yet, because of the motivation that he will be playing with, upon his return from his ACL injury, as a new father. The NFL Hall of Famer then attempts to add context to his criticism of OBJ by stating that great players don’t jump from team to team, more than two times unless they’re on the same level as Randy Moss or Shaq (in the NBA). He then goes on to compare OBJ to his teammate with the Los Angeles Rams last season, Cooper Kupp, before rattling off his record-breaking stats and calling OBJ an “afterthought.”
