William Bedford came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, and he started off speaking about being raised in Memphis, which he said was family-oriented at the time he was a kid. From there, William spoke about playing sports but hating basketball because people were constantly asking if he played. By the time he was in high school, William was 6’9″, and he started playing basketball. He then spoke about playing basketball at Memphis State University, and later being drafted into the NBA. William revealed that he was drafted with Len Bias, who was a first-team All-American and second pick to the Celtics. Two days after the draft, Len tragically died, which William said was the first time he was hurt in the NBA.
