During our sit down, Z-Ro explains what attracted him to her music, she discussed her hometown, the art of relatable music, her upbringing in Mo City, having a different approach as a female artist, Z-Ro’s rap style growing up, discovering her love for music as a child, pursing her career full time in April, her first recording session, the risk they’ve had to take in regards to reaching new levels, dealing with the pressures of the industry’s as a black woman, certain morals and principles that are lost in today’s music, Z-Ro’s perspectives on todays music, their single “I’m Not Lyin”, her visual being inspired by Jeepers Creepers, her overall journey as an emerging artist, her album “Napoleon Complex”, working Lil Keke, Sauce Walka, Paul Wall, Z-Ro, and more!
