Both confirmed they were involved behind the scenes but didn’t participate on stage due to unresolved negotiations and scheduling conflicts. Despite Dipset’s bigger hits, their scattered approach contrasted with The Lox’s unity. Reflecting on the historic event, all agreed the battle was legendary for hip hop regardless of the winner.
