In this clip, King Los talks about his relationship with Lola Monroe, their baby together, and fatherhood. The Baltimore rapper shares what it was like to witness Lola’s rise with Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Gang long before he was famous. As the discussion unfolds, the lyrical legend talks about what it was like to watch an unknown Big Sean perform “Dance (A$$)” while on tour Wiz Khalifa as the opening act back in 2011.
Later on in the interview, Los talks about his classic feature on “Gangster 101” by Wiz Khalifa. He states that he thinks it’s probably his greatest guest appearance after sharing the story of how the collaboration came about in the first place. As the discussion continues, the Baltimore native talks about why his wife, Lola, stopped making music and what she has in store for her music fans who have been anticipating her return. King Los shares why he left Bad Boy and for RCA Records what his final discussion was like with P. Diddy upon the separation.
Lastly, King Los talks about the making of “Make You Proud” featuring DMX and how an Arizona-based record label named After Platinum connected the two of them together so that they could make the track. The Baltimore native goes on to explain how instrumental After Platinum was in helping him learn about the music business and contracts.
