‘Lip Filler Mom’ Faces Murder Charge for Leaving Kids to Die in Hot Car: Police
Twenty-year-old Maya Hernandez is facing murder and child cruelty charges after allegedly leaving her two young sons in a hot car for over two hours while she got lip filler, resulting in the death of her 1-year-old son, Amillio. Police say Hernandez admitted to leaving the car running with the A/C on, but didn’t realize her vehicle would shut off automatically, causing the temperature to rise to deadly levels. Despite being told she could bring the kids inside the med spa, she reportedly left them in the car. Law&Crime’s Kennedi Walker has the update in this tragic case.
