In this clip, Lud Foe briefly touched on his YouTube numbers rising alongside his rapper profile. At the time of the interview, Lud Foe had amassed 27 million views for his video “Cuttin Up.” But the bulk of the conversation centered on Lud Foe’s horrific car accident that left him with broken wrists, jaw, a swollen head, and a litany of other injuries. He talked about being on the expressway with the 18-wheeler when he and the truck were both jostling for position on the road.

After exchanging mutual “F*** You’s,” Lud Foe explained how the truck driver, who he claimed to be racist, deliberately ran him off the road. He details how the car flipped multiple time and how he was ejected from the back window before the truck tumbled to a stop. Lud Foe talked about sustaining his injuries and bouncing back from them, saying that he recorded five tracks with his jaw wired shut in the same way Kanye recorded “Through the Wire.”
