Mackenzie Shirilla, the Ohio teenager convicted of intentionally driving her car into a brick wall in Strongsville and killing her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and their friend, Davion Flanagan, has filed multiple appeals. Despite her insistence of innocence in the new Netflix documentary “The Crash,” courts have continuously shot down her defense team’s arguments regarding missing deadlines and trial evidence.
