Man Ambushes Cop with Claw Hammer: Police
In Barberton, Ohio, 35-year-old Jacob Culbertson was arrested after a domestic dispute with his father escalated into a violent confrontation with police. Despite warnings that Culbertson wore body armor and kept a collection of weapons, officers were allegedly ambushed and struck with a hammer when they forced entry into his bedroom. Culbertson now faces charges of felonious assault and domestic violence, though he continues to claim self-defense as his attorney requests a competency and sanity evaluation.
