In this clip, Michael Franzese started out by responding to Vlad asking if he knew former Colombo associate Andy Russo, and Michael revealed that Andy was his first captain, who he says treated him very well. Michael went on to explain that seeing guys like Andy going in and out of prison proved to him that there’s no quality of life in the mob world. Michael then pointed out that his father’s own relationship and involvement in the mob drove a wedge in their family. Michael explained that he heard about his father putting a hit out on him and his brother, and while he doesn’t think his father would’ve carried out the hit, he also doesn’t think he’d stand in to stop it.
