Bronx, New York DJ/Producer Hektek started on the turntables playing music at local parties in the early 1990s. Not long after he caught the attention of Music Pioneer; founder of the Universal Zulu Nation Afrika Bambaataa who quickly recognized Hektek's musical potential capability. In 1997 he began building a name for himself playing music in some of the most well known nightclubs, festivals around the U.S. 1999 was Hektek's first time touring in Europe and he has since performed in 141 cities, 26 countries which include Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, U.K, Canada, Japan, Russia, China and the U.A.E. This has given him the opportunity to gain international exposure while catering to large audiences showcasing his turntable skills and ability to hype up any large party crowd.

Hektek's produced music in the studio for several artist locally and internationally; making numerous guest DJ appearances on FM, Internet, Satellite radio stations as well as hosting and releasing his own series of digital mixtapes online. He is also featured in American Films and on TV Show programs working alongside actors like Terrence Howard, Channin Tatum, Malik Yoba and Henry Winkler. Hektek is currently a resident DJ in the NYC area, touring globally several times a year and occasionally guest hosting on NYC Cable TV Show program "Blunt Squad TV". His goal is to bring his talents, extensive knowledge of music and authenticity to any venue providing audiences with an epic party experience.
