Mom Busted For Leaving Kids Home Alone with Twisted Tea in Reach: Cops
Newly released bodycam footage shows police arresting a North Georgia mom, Alexandra Woodward, and her boyfriend after her 8- and 10-year-old children were found home alone while the couple drove more than an hour away — raising legal and moral questions about parenting and the law. Police say they found a vape pen and Twisted Tea within reach of the children, and though Georgia law sets age limits on when children can be left alone, a new law expanding parental discretion doesn’t take effect until July.
