In this clip, Montell Jordan talked about the late Andre Harrell and described how Harrell gave him the stamp for Russell Simmons to sign him. Montell Jordan then talked about working on his first album over the course of 1994, and revealed he got married following signing his deal. Eventually, Jordan’s wife would become his manager. He also detailed the inspiration behind what would become his biggest hit, “This Is How We Do It,” and recounted the recording session for the track.
