2 Chainz Gets in Holiday Spirit by Gifting Family in Need Wheelchair-Accessible Van

2 Chainz is out here giving back in a big way by gifting a family in need a wheelchair-accessible van.

“Gotta share this with y’all since together we make this happen thru Dabbin Santa! Real live Black Santa rolling through the hood,” he captioned a video documenting his trip to gift one family with the new vehicle.

We learn more of this family’s story in the clip as the mother explains she has been driving her paralyzed daughter to the doctor’s in a regular van for the past 27 years.

“Ain’t God good!” says the mother when she sees the van for the first time and the automatic ramp that is already built-in. At the most touching part of the video, you can hear her say, “Thank you very much” as she sobs in 2 Chainz’s arms.

The end of the video confirms that he used the proceeds from his diamond-encrusted ugly “Dabbin’ Santa” Christmas sweater, which he sold for $90,000, to purchase the van for the family. Additional proceeds from the sweater are for 2 Chainz’s T.R.U. Foundation, which benefits veterans, arts education programs, and disabled children. The rapper is still selling plenty of “Dabbin’ Santa”-themed merchandise through his official online store. Back in 2015, he was able to raise $2 million for the T.R.U. Foundation.

On top of that, 2 Chainz was also at the 33rd annual United Negro College Fund Atlanta Mayor’s Masked Ball. Clearly, he understands the importance of giving back and helping those less fortunate. Watch the emotional video above.
