2 Chainz’s ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ Is Dropping in April

Just two weeks after he revealed the title of his upcoming project, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, 2 Chainz has announced the album’s release date: April 7. The 39-year-old rapper went to Instagram on Sunday with a photo of him and Drake in the studio with producers; the post was captioned with “4/7,” which means we won’t have to wait too long for Tity Boi’s next full-length.

Pretty Girls Like Trap Music will be 2 Chainz’s first solo album since 2013’s B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time. Since then, he has released a number of mixtapes and singles, as well as a joint LP with Lil Wayne called ColleGrove.

So what will this upcoming project deliver? On the same day he announced the album, 2 Chainz posted a photo with Justin Bieber, suggesting they were cooking up music together. Over the weekend, the Atlanta rapper posted an image of him and Drake during a studio session and teased their new track on social media. At the time, it was unclear where the song would land: on Drake’s upcoming More Life playlistPretty Girls Like Trap Music, or somewhere else entirely. We’re still not sure, but it’s safe to assume Drizzy will make an appearance on the Atlanta rapper’s new album.

Stay tuned as more information about Pretty Girls Like Trap Music is revealed.
