2Pac Collaborator Big Syke Has Passed Away
2Pac‘s collaborator, Tyruss Himes, better known as Big Syke, has passed away at the age of 48. According to TMZ, Big Syke was found dead at his home in Hawthorne, California Monday night when police responded to a call to the scene before the L.A. County Coroner arrived.
The rapper is believed to have died from natural causes, but an autopsy has not been completed yet. TMZ adds that Syke had a history of heart issues and obesity.
Syke’ has rhymes featured on some of 2Pac’s biggest songs including “All Eyez on Me,” “Picture me Rollin” and “Check out Time.” The Inglewood native reportedly met 2Pac back in 1992 before joining his Thug Life group, which released one album before splitting up after 2Pac was killed in 1996. He also was one of the original 10 members of 2Pac’s Outlawz where he went by a different moniker, Moozaliny, or Mussolini.
However, you would also know Syke from his solo projects like his Be Yo’ Self, Big Syke Daddy, Street Commando, and 2002’s Big Syke. R.I.P. Big Syke.
