2Pac – Got My Mind Made Up (OG with Inspectah Deck) [Better Quality]
Feat. Tha Dogg Pound, Method Man, Redman & Inspectah Deck
This is my attempt at recreating the unreleased original version of “Got My Mind Made Up”, adding Inspectah Deck’s verse which wasn’t included on the retail version (he reused it in a freestyle, which is what I used when making this). I also added Method Man’s censored words.
Adding Deck’s verse from the freestyle has been done before but new AI technology for extracting acapellas has been launched since so I figured I’d make an updated version, and it did turn out better than the old fanmade edit.
Since there’s rumours about it being 2Pac’s call to take INS off this track, I suggest you watch the video “Daz Dillinger: Tupac and Dr.Dre’ get into it !” if you haven’t. Daz (who produced the track) explains why Deck wasn’t on the retail version, the verse was on a different ADAT which was lost. This explains why they left the adlibs on, it was on the ADAT with the other verses – if they actually wanted to take Deck off the track there’s no way they would’ve left the adlibs on.
