Action Bronson and Wale Have a Complex Conversation About Wrestling Going Mainstream

Spoiler alert! Wrestling is fake. There was a time where that revelation would be highly debated, but the reality of today is that the average fan doesn’t even care anymore. The WWE is a multi-billion dollar industry with some diehard fans.

During our first annual ComplexCon in Long Beach, CA, Complex brought together a panel of wrestling enthusiasts to discuss how big the “sport” has gotten in the latest episode of our new 16-episode series, Complex Conversations. Episode 5 is called “WWE Nation: Has Wrestling Gone Mainstream?” and features Complex’s very own Joe La Puma serving as host for a panel that includes Action Bronson, Wale and Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg. The quartet chop it up about everything from whether or not Rihanna would ever be a part of WrestleMania to how today’s WWE compares to WCW and ECW.

Check out the full episode above and look out for more celebrities, activists, designers and musicians discussing the most pressing topics impacting youth culture each week.
